Sheffield Carers' Cafe on Valentine's Day

I had a meeting with Steph at the Sheffield Carers’ Cafe in the city centre on 7th February 2020. It was a really lovely cafe in the United Reformed Church on Norfolk Row in the City Centre. A light and spacious building. I was given a beautiful bunch of roses as I left! My Own Words is soon to be included in the discounts and activities listed on the Carers’ card.

The Sheffield Carer Card has been developed to reward and recognise all the hard work done by carers. This card is for both young and adult carers. The Card offers discounts on a range of activities, products and services. It is the result of the generosity of local and national businesses who want to support carers. It is part of an attempt to mobilise the city to work together to recognise the work carers do, help carers to connect with the services offered and support a city-wide effort to make Sheffield much more carer-friendly.
